INGREDIENTS:
- 12 eggs
- 1 +1/2 C. sugar, divided
- 1/4 Tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. Rustlin' Rob's Mexican Vanilla
- 1 qrt. Half and Half (THE REAL STUFF...NONE OF THAT "FAT FREE" CRAP)
- 1 qrt. whole milk
- 1 pt. heavy whipping cream
- 2 C. whiskey
- 1 C. rum
DIRECTIONS:
- Separate egg whites from yolks, placing yolks in a large pot that will hold the entire concoction.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff, then add 1/2 cup sugar and beat until creamy and light. Add egg whites to yolk mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Add 1 qtr.. half and halfand vanilla mix thoroughly. Add 2 cups whiskey, mix thoroughly again.
- In another bowl beat whipping cream until stiff, then fold into egg nog, leaving small lumps throughout mixture. Refrigerate and leave it as long as you can stand it, then enjoy.
- The longer it sits ...(as in days... a week or better) the smoother it becomes and the more potent the effect. we typically lay into it ...20 seconds after it's made.
