Smokin’ Red Slow-Cooker Jambalaya
Shrimp Cocktail Sauce

First let me clarify. This is not a Hot sauce by any means. No mouth burn at all. (For me.) If you have low spice tolerance, then, wow it’s hot I guess, but that’s only if black pepper sets your mouth on fire. HOWEVER, this is still a good sauce. The flavor is there. Is it worth 15 bucks? No. Is it worth 10? Again, no. But if you find it, at whatever the price (under 10 bucks), and you feel like trying it, do so. It’s quite nice. I really enjoy adding it to literally everything, no I’m not sponsored, nor am I some friend of the creator or business selling this, just look at this comment. It’s not a hot sauce. Spicy-ish I guess, but not hot. It is damn tasty. I think I paid roughly 7 or 8 bucks at walmart, since apparently HEB doesn’t carry it, but it was somewhat worth it. (why somewhat? because I’d prefer a bigger bottle at that price). I’d be comfortable paying 4 bucks per bottle, since I use a lot of it in everything. While I love tapatio, and tabasco for a very very very very very very mild burn, if that, I’d take this over them any day of the week. It’s just good. Is it the best hot sauce I’ve eaten? Hard no. But it’s not a hot sauce, it’s a flavor sauce. They don’t say it is, but I’m telling you it is. Terms of heat 1/10, Flavor 10/10. It’s a good “hot” sauce, but it’s a perfect “flavor” sauce. For that little kick you need without killing yourself and also adding taste. Look at it like this, tobasco is supposed to be consumer weak hot, we all know it’s not hot in the slightest, maybe for kids it is. Not even their “scorpion” version is hot. Tapatio is just generic flavor and weak mild heat, like, very weak and very mild heat but more flavorful. Boerne Smokin’ Red? this one, pure flavor with a hint of spice (i guess), but just good. Try it, you will probably like it, and if not, well, you don’t have taste buds.
